IN THE ISLAND OF GRAN CANARIA
One of the seven islands comprising the Canaries archipelago (Spain), in the Atlantic.
Gran Canaria, one of the two capital islands, is worldwide known as the ‘miniature continent’ as within a few kilometers you can change from spectacular beaches to mountain tops with beautiful volcanic monoliths, or from picturesque villages to its modern and cosmopolitan city. All of this in an eternal spring climate –annual average temperature is 22ºC-.
IN ITS WEST COAST
North-west Gran Canaria, the wildest and unknown area in the island, is full of surprises, unique vegetal species, outstanding types of bird, traces of the ancient aboriginals, territories acknowledged as World Biosphere Reserve, virtually untouched beaches… There, in the west, where the Guayedra ravine flows to meet the sea, Redondo de Guayedra welcomes its guests with the world famous Canarian warmth.
